Corporate Luge Recruitment
Now recruiting new corporate luge teams
We need new teams and individuals to slide on Tuesday nights!!!
Minimum of 4 people per team 8 person maximum. We also have teams looking
for new individual sliders if you do not have your own team.
Corp Luge Quick Facts:
It takes us about 15 minutes to teach you everything you need to know to
compete in the corporate luge.
Fun recreational league that lasts a couple of hours every Tuesday
evening.
League slides from the halfway point of track and top speeds from this
point are around 20mph.
Corporate luge is for ages 18 to 107.
League afterglow usually takes place at Bear Lake Tavern. Food,
drinks, cold beer, and cheap luge talk.
Who: Muskegon Winter Sports Complex
What: 2008 Corporate Luge Leagues
When: Tuesday nights 7pm (practice time available starting at 6pm each
Tuesday.) Janaury through 1st week of March.
Where: Practice night starts January 15 weather permitting.
Cost: $600 per team ( 8 people works out to $75.00 per
person for entire season. Includes season pass for open track times
to come out on Fridays and Sundays during open luge. Typically
companys will cover all or a portion of the cost for employee based teams
Awards banquet at end of season. Great potluck with beer and trophies
provided by Muskegon Luge Club
Race Format
Everyone takes two timed runs.
Each team must have a minimum of 4 sliders to post times each Tuesday...
maximum team size 8 people.
4 times are added together for that weeks times. Points system is used
to award team points for week.
