Luge
$40.00 per person for a 2 & 1/2hour learn to luge clinic
Proof of health insurance and a signed waiver is required before you can luge. There are no exceptions to this.
You must be at least 8 years old to luge on our winter luge track.
All reservations for weekend times are taken on line, click the link from “Learn to Luge” to make your reservation and see further information.
Cross Country Skiing
Daily trail pass $7.00 per person
Daily ski rental $5.00 per person
Rental skis are available in most sizes and are rented on a first come first serve basis, we do not take reservations for skis.
Season ski pass $60.00 per person
Season ski and skate family pass $225.00 for immediate family members which consists of parents and children 21 years of age and under living in the same household.
You can also add on to the Season ski and skate family pass to include the rental of both skis and skates for the entire season for only $40.00 per person. So you can purchase the rentals of skis and skates just for the members of your family that need them.
The $40.00 per person ski and skate season equipment rental includes skis and skates only. This does not include use of snowshoes or any hockey equipment, such as helmets, hockey sticks or pucks. Those are extra rental fees, and must be paid on a daily rental basis.
Ice Skating
Daily skate pass $4.00 per person

Rental skates are available in most sizes for both hockey and figure skates and are rented on a first come first serve basis, we do not take reservations for skates or hockey equipment.
Hockey stick rental $3.00
Hockey puck $2.00
Helmet rental $1.00
**The rule is: if you have a hockey stick in your hand ~ you must have a helmet on your head. There are no exceptions!
Season Skate Pass $45.00 per person

Snow shoes
Daily snow shoe rental $10.00 per person
We do not charge a trail pass fee for the snow shoe trails. The snowshoe trails are separate trails from the ski trails and are NOT lighted so if you arrive after dark you would need your own head lamp to be able to see.
We do not allow anyone to snow shoe on our cross country ski trails, as they are groomed for skiing only.
**We love dogs here at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex and they are allowed in the park as long as they are on a leash at all times and you clean up after them with your own bags. But dogs are not allowed on the cross country ski trails, ice rinks, or in the lodge. Dogs are welcome on the snow shoe trails.
Sledding hill
Muskegon Luge & Winter Sports Complex installed a new family sledding hill in 2010. It was designed for young children and their parents, although all ages are allowed. There is no charge for the sledding hill, although we encourage making a trip into the lodge and buying a round of hot chocolates for your family each visit!!
Sled rental $3.00
No snowboards or metal runner-ed sleds permitted.
We are located in Muskegon State Park, so a motor vehicle permit/recreation passport is required to enter the State Park. The cost is $10.00 for a year permit for Michigan residents and this is now purchased at the Secretary of State Office when you renew your license plates. For out of state vehicles, the cost is $8.00 for a day pass and $29.00 for an annual/year pass. These can be purchased right at the Winter Sports Complex when you arrive from out of state.
