..with a little help from mother nature you and your family will realize the true magic of winter at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex. Family Season Ski and Skate Pass includes unlimited use all season of our 5 miles of Lighted X-C Ski trails and over an acre and a half ice skating during the day and under the lights.
There is so much to enjoy here at the Muskegon Winter sports Complex. Ice skating along our 1/4 mile ice skating trail, playing a game of pick up hockey, or ski out to Lost Lake under the lights, afterwards warming up in our heated lodge enjoying a cup of hot cocoa by the fire.
After you purchase your season pass on-line, we ask that you send us a picture of each person in your family within a few days to our e-mail address at info@msports.org in jpg format so we can prepare everyone’s pass card before the snow starts to fall. That will help alleviate the long lines at the season pass printing table.
Normal pricing for a Family Season Ski and Skate Pass is $225.00, for a family which is considered parents and their children 21 years of age and under living in the same household
There are no refunds for season passes.
The season passes do not include rentals of skis and skates, unless the upgrade to include the rental of skis and skates is purchased, which is at a cost of $40.00 per person. So you can purchase the rentals of skis and skates just for the members of your family that need them.
(You can’t buy one good pair of ice skates for $75.00 )
Rental skis and skates are available in most sizes and are rented on a first come first serve basis, we do not take reservations for skis or skates.
The $40.00 per person ski and skate season equipment rental add-an includes skis and skates only. This does not include use of snowshoes or any hockey equipment, such as helmets, hockey sticks or pucks. Those are extra rental fees, and must be paid on a daily rental basis.
**The rule is: if you have a hockey stick in your hand ~ you must have a helmet on your head.
Family Season Ski and Skate Pass for 2011-2012 winter season
Family Season Ski and Skate Pass ~ $225.oo for your immediate family,
which is considered parents and their children 21 years of age and under living in the same household.
Individual Season Pass for 2011-2012 winter season
Individual Season ski pass ~ $60.00 per person
Individual Season Skate Pass ~ $45.00 per person
We are located in Muskegon State Park, so a motor vehicle permit/recreation passport is required to enter the State Park. The cost is $10.00 for a year permit for Michigan residents and this is now purchased at the Secretary of State Office when you renew your license plates. For out of state vehicles, the cost is $8.00 for a day pass and $29.00 for an annual/year pass. These can be purchased right at the Winter Sports Complex when you arrive from out of state.
