Muskegon Luge & Winter Sports Complex installed a new family sledding hill in 2010. It was designed for young children and their parents, although all ages are allowed. There is no charge for the sledding hill, although we encourage making a trip into the lodge and buying a round of hot chocolates for your family each visit!!
We do rent sleds for $3.00 in case you forget to bring your own, or bring friends who do not have their own sleds, or simply just do not want to load them in and out of your car.
No snowboards or metal runnered sleds permitted.
There are much larger sledding areas within Muskegon State Park but not within the complex area. The Blockhouse Hill and the Sugar Bowl are the most popular. Both are south of the complex entrance.
