Summer Luge!
We have the only wheeled luge track in North America!
Open to the public
Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
10:00am – 2:00pm
Just like in the winter, our summer luge track is only open Weather Permitting (The luge can not run in the rain or soon after a rain if the luge track is wet)
Hours and prices are subject to change
Cost to luge is $8.00 per person for one hour.
N0 reservations needed for the summer luge.
Proof of health insurance and signed waiver required.
You must be at least 5 years old to luge on the summer luge track.
Tennis shoes, long sleeve shirts and long pants are highly recommended to wear. This will protect your skin against a fiberglass “burn” in case you brush up against the side of the track.
PRIVATE WHEELED LUGE TRACK TIME!
This is perfect for groups that want to come out and experience the luge. Proof of health insurance and a signed waiver for each person in the group is required
**During the week and after hours on Saturday and Sunday you may book the luge for private track time! The cost is $150.00 for the first hour and $75.00 for each hour after that. Please e-mail us at info@msports.org to schedule your group for the luge.
Muskegon Luge and Sports Complex
is located in Muskegon State Park
at 462 Scenic Drive in North Muskegon, MI
State Parks require that you have a motor vehicle permit or recreation passport for your vehicle. Out of state residents can purchase their motor vehicle permits at the Lake Michigan Campground office directly across the Street from us for $8.00 for a day permit or $29.00 for an annual permit. Michigan residents are now able to get their recreation passport at the Secretary of State’s Office for only $10.00 for a year when they re-new their license plates.
Muskegon Luge and Sports Complex is operated by the Muskegon Sports Council a 501 c 3 not for profit organization

3 pancakes, 3 sausages, juice, and unlimited cups of coffee
For ages 13 and over $6.00 per person

Then our Eco-Adventure Program is for you!

Cost is $12.00 per person
or $35.00 for a family rate for parents and children 21 years or under living in the same household.
Please note that you will need to arrive by 11:00am in order to complete all the challenges. The number of challenges that can be completed will differ depending on arrival time. So, if you have a later arrival time, then you may not get to complete all the challenges as we close at 2:00pm
Get your Eco adventure card at the lodge and follow the directions to complete as many of the components as you are able.

Orienteering – Find six specific points along our orienteering course using a compass and stepping off in 10 meter increments

Cup Fill – Race to the top of the winter luge track with a cup of full water and try to get back with out spilling a drop

Mud Medal Mania – dig through our mud pit to find a specific gold, silver or bronze medal burried in the mud * you will get down and dirty in this challenge, so dress accordingly

Ball Balance – Race around our 1/4 mile ice-skate trail while balancing a golf ball on a spoon

Forget and Get Wet – try to memorize the 10 things listed under the sprinkling hose, come back into the lodge and write them down. If you forget you have to go back and you’ll get wet, yet again * you’ll get wet here so bring a towel to dry off

Pick it up – pick up any trash you find in the park for 5 extra points

Coaches Choice – this challenge is determined each week by the luge coaches. They get to pick their favorite for you to do.

Eco-Adventure Birthday Party held during our regular hours
Up to 6 children for $35.00, then only $8.00 per person if you add more than 6 children.
The children get to participate in our Eco-Adventure Program
Private track time Luge Birthday Party held at 2:00pm Wednesday, Friday,Saturday or Sunday
Up to 12 children (ages 5 and up) get to luge on our summer luge track for $100.00 for one hour and then $50.00 for each hour after that. Then, $8.00 per person if you add more than 12 children.
Proof of health insurance and a signed waiver for each person in the group is required.
You can bring your own food for a picnic lunch outside around the fire pit, or you can also purchase lunches in the lodge such as:
Corn dogs for $2.00 each
Hot Pretzels for $2.00 each
** You can also come early for our pancake breakfasts if you want to feed your party goers breakfast instead of lunch!
